Artisca in the C-Meet 25
On October 2 and 3, part of the Artisca team had the great opportunity to attend the C-Meet 25 held at the Santander Stage (Cantabria).
Reference event in the field of digital transformation and technological innovation, which brought together great professionals, companies and experts from the sector both in Cantabria and from other places as diverse as Slovenia.
During these two rewarding days, ideas, projects and experiences around artificial intelligence, national and international supercomputing, digitisation and leadership today were shared.
The opening day was marked by the intervention of Mercedes Mariño, Head of Technology at AWS Iberia, who highlighted the importance of investing in knowledge, encouraging curiosity and adapting to constant change to advance digital transformation processes.
We were also able to know the success stories of Cantabrian companies such as Celestia TST, CTC or Ingencid, clear examples of how local innovation drives regional competitiveness.
The day continued with an interesting and international round table on good practises in digitisation between Cantabria and Slovenia, where the relevance of education, collaboration between institutions and companies and the implementation of new practises as robust pillars of sustainable technological development were underlined.
On October 3, the event focussed on the current and future challenges of AI and innovation linked to it.
Throughout the morning, it was reflected on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we read, write and communicate, as well as how advances in supercomputing at the European level have progressed in recent years and the role of Cantabria as an emerging space for technological development. An example of the latter is the congregation of numerous regional companies around Green Valley Cantabria.
The day concluded with presentations focussed on cybersecurity in companies and leadership in the age of AI, addressing the challenges faced by corporations of all sizes in this new socio-technological context.
For Artisca, attending the C-Meet has been a valuable opportunity to learn, inspire and connect with the technological community of Cantabria and beyond.
We want to thank the organisation, speakers and sponsors for making this meeting possible one more year, reinforcing our conviction that digital transformation is not only about technology, but about people, knowledge and collaboration.
For our part, we will continue to bet on innovation and continuous learning as the main engines for growth.
